Traveling

I love traveling. I think it's great. A spectacular adventure. I love how every place you travel to is new. A new setting. A new experience. No matter if it's over oceans or across land, a new destination always fascinates me. Last summer while my sister went to the Dominican Republic on a program called Amigos, my mom and I went on a road trip to my aunt and cousins down in Atlanta, Georgia. It was a great journey for me and I enjoyed single moment of it. Even though it was a 12 hour drive and there wasn't much to do I still liked it because I got to drive most of the time. Also half way we stopped by a hotel and spent the night there which was great for me too because I love staying at hotels. I don't really know what it is about traveling that I adore so much but I think it's just the plain old fact that it's a new place you're going to. A new place means new people, new cultures, new environment, etc. which leads to having even more fun. Also, I think my family and I are going to Georgia once more this winter break and I'm looking forward to it. Traveling just amazes me in ways that are unimaginable. Which would probably make it my favorite thing to do.

  1. I completely understand what you are talking about. Traveling is one of my favorite things as well, and fortunately I get to travel a lot with my parents, and for sports. The feeling of being somewhere knew, in a place that you aren't very familiar makes everything seem a bit more exciting. After all, when you spend a lot of time in one place it becomes boring. I love traveling to different countries the most because you get to observe a different culture, eat different foods, and listen to people speak a different language. When you are exposed to the same exact things every day you get tired, bored, and annoyed thats why I think traveling is so exciting because you get away from that dull daily routine.

  2. I Also love traveling especially road trips. It’s a nice bonding experience. However, my family hasn’t taken a road trip in a while so I haven’t been able to drive, but that would be great practice that I need. I also love staying in hotels especially nice hotels. I love going to any place that has oceans, but flying in planes is just not as enjoyable as a road trip with family and friends. The farthest road trip I have every taken was to Tennessee it took about 12 hours. I wish my family would take longer road trips, but my dad isn’t a big fan of driving. While traveling I have met many new and interesting people. For example, during my Tennessee trip I became good friends with the hotel owners daughter. What is the most exciting thing or person you have encountered while traveling?
